Values Awards Winners Announced

Values Awards Winners Announced

From new methods of gathering water samples to a series of webinars for our customers, we have just awarded the first of the 2021 Values Awards across the business.

Each quarter, all employees are able to nominate any one of their colleagues for a Values Award.  This is recognition of the fact that they have gone above and beyond in any one of our core Values – Happy People, Happy Customers, Working Safely and Being Successful.

The competition was strong this quarter with 43 nominations from across the two businesses, and our judges were certainly impressed with the calibre of the nominees.  Our winners this quarter were;

  • Happy People – Neil Swaine – for surprising his Land Surveyor colleagues with a surprise Christmas gift

  • Happy Customers – Richard Cave – for delivering a series of 6 webinars for our customers so we could still be visible whilst not able to see them face to face – 680 registrations and some great feedback received

  • Working Safely – Jonathan Norman – for devising a new reel and line method of gathering water samples in a more hygienic way after only being with the business for 2 months

  • Being Successful – Lucy Halloway – assisting with the mountain of paperwork and administration required for the migration of ISO18001 to ISO45001 whilst dealing with flexible furlough and home schooling.

We look forward to the Q2 nominations to find out who our colleagues believe are really living our Values.
