Based from Leeds with agile / home working opportunities, this additional Survey Scheduler role has been created due to increasing workloads in IETG. The purpose of this role is to assist the Flow Operations Department by effectively creating work packages for site based teams to complete the installation, maintenance and removal of field-based equipment as well as managing field crews site sheets and incoming data. Your typical tasks will include –

  • Identifying and prioritising installations and maintenance to meet contractual obligations, and via work requests from Data Analysts
  • Logistically grouping and ordering maintenance and produce route plans for maintenance teams
  • Creating daily / weekly plans for site field crews using internal systems, information gathered from land registry and traffic permits applied for.
  • Creating and applying for traffic permits using MapInfo, Google and field crew information
  • Creating Land Entry Notices (LENS) in MapInfo (GIS software) using data from the site investigation and Land registry.
  • Liaising with field crews on a daily basis
  • Managing incoming paperwork and electronic site sheets including data and photographs returned from site, and maintain databases as required
  • Providing supporting information on crew and contracts performance as required.
  • Assisting with future development and testing of scheduling software
  • Liaising with external clients as required.

Our successful candidate will be a positive, friendly, flexible and proactive person who gets on well working in a small team, with good communication, time management and prioritisation skills. Also, you will have –

  • The ability to work effectively under pressure during busy periods
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • A high standard of MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • A good standard of English & Maths – ideally above a C / 4 at GCSE level or equivalent

It would be desirable if you –

  • Had a working knowledge of Autoroute and MapPoint
  • Be able to adapt to bespoke systems
  • Have a knowledge of NRSWA

Full training will be provided, so you don’t need previous experience in our sector, however a track record in a similar scheduling role would be an advantage. The working hours are 40 per week with the ability to be flexible according to business needs.
