As private network owners, you are also responsible for the associated maintenance and repair work. However, due to inadequate investment over the years, many of these systems are prone to leakage and disrepair, which could be costing your company thousands of pounds a year in unnecessary utility bills.

Approximately 5% of water leaks are evident on the surface. How many unknown leaks does your estate have? Just one small service pipe leak could be costing you in excess of £6k p.a. and one 4” main leak could be costing you £24k p.a.

FREE Site Assessment
We offer our prospective clients a FREE site assessment, which involves looking at on-site water consumption facilities, and comparing them with water usage to ascertain how much water is being lost through leaks within the network. The costs incurred due to leaks are reflected in the actual billed costs from your water supplier.
IETG engineers can draw up a schedule of works, then locate and fix the leaks, and offer monitoring solutions to target any future leakage problems. They can also provide you with essential information on water saving measures, that can be implemented to save your estate money in the long-term.
Reduction in Water Leakage and Costs
Water bills are sure to rise significantly over the coming years, which means that companies can no longer adopt a complacent attitude to water usage. This utility costs UK businesses millions of pounds collectively every year.
IETG have many years experience in the water industry and are working in partnership with companies to considerably reduce water usage, making substantial reductions in costs.
Millions of litres of water are poured down the drain every day in the UK - which confirms our casual approach to one of our most precious resources. Our disregard for efficient water usage is costing us dearly, and despite improvements in recent years, most organisations remain unaware of how much water they are actually wasting and, importantly, how much they are losing financially.
Environment Agency statistics illustrate that where there have been no previous initiatives to conserve water within an organisation, savings of up to 20% are achievable. Factors contributing towards wastage can be simple, and include dripping taps and overflows on storage tanks due to poorly set ball valves, or can be down to the far more complex issue of underground leakage.
