IETG has recently awarded its 51st Celebrating Success letter since the launch of the scheme in March last year.

Damien Cale-Brister received the award for working safely, after he turned down a request from a client of some seniority in order to maintain one of our site safety rules. Well done Damien.

“Celebrating Success” invites an employee to dine out, at our expense, with a partner, friend or their family. It is given to those who we feel deserve some extra recognition or who’ve had a success that we think needs……celebrating!

Examples have included: passing exams; exceptional client reports or safety audits; preventing a potential pollution incident; and even coming to the rescue of a motorist in distress!

“Celebrating Success”, which was introduced by Ian Edwards (Managing Director) on joining the company, is designed not only to reward the employee, but also to stimulate discussion amongst their family and friends about what led to the award: hopefully spreading the word and encouraging good behaviours, be it in safety, work performance or just going out of their way to “do the right thing”.
